Accounting Standards Perspectives    

Attend the third quarter meeting of the Accounting & Finance Council at the Victory Building, 1401 W. Capitol Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201 on Wednesday, August 29.  

The meeting will be held from 10 am to 2 pm, and lunch will be sponsored by Simmons Bank and served while attendees network with other accounting and finance professionals in the industry and learn from experts in a workshop-style setting.

Accounting standards update: leases, revenue recognition, and beyond

Gina Moran, CPA

Areas of Service Concentration: Audit, Tax, and closely held businesses. Industry expertise: agriculture, not-for-profit, construction, manufacturing, cooperatives, distribution, financial institutions, credit unions, trusts, employee benefit plans, and fraud examinations. Gina also serves as the firm's director of quality control, including and assisting with the continuing professional education for the firm.

Gina has 21 years of experience in public accounting and is a graduate of University of Central Arkansas, B.B.A. accounting.


Bryan Hall, CPA

Areas of Service Concentration: Audit and Tax. Industry expertise: Construction, Agriculture, and Manufacturing.

Bryan has 6 years of experience in public accounting and is a 2008 graduate of Vanderbilt University, B.A. in economics and history; 2012 graduate of the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville, masters of accountancy.



Zack Clark, CPA  

Areas of Service Concentration: Audit and Tax. Industry expertise: construction, agriculture and wholesalers.

Zack has 10 years of experience in public accounting and is a 2007 graduate of the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville, B.S.B.A. in accounting and finance. 

Effects of changes in lease accounting standards on bank debt and financial covenants

Scott Heady, Senior Vice President 

Heady has worked for Simmons Bank since March 2017, as senior vice president of commercial banking in Kansas City. Prior to joining Simmons, Heady served as a senior vice president in the commercial banking division of UMB Bank, also in Kansas City, for nine years. Heady has more than 30 years of corporate middle market banking experience, including a concentration in transportation and correspondent banking during the financial crisis. Heady has recently relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas.
