The Arkansas Trucking Association is now accepting nominations for the Arkansas Road Team, seeking professional truck drivers who exemplify safety, professionalism and community engagement to serve as ambassadors for the trucking industry. As the Arkansas Road Team celebrates its 10th anniversary, the program continues to serve as the public face of Arkansas’s trucking industry. Since its formation in 2015, the Arkansas Road Team has brought the Share the Road safe-driving program to hundreds of schools, festivals, and other events throughout Arkansas, presentations to promote highway safety and foster positive relationships between professional drivers and the motoring public. The program focuses on educating drivers about blind spots, safe following distances and proper techniques for sharing the road with large commercial vehicles.
